Please, note, no US agency is accredited to do adoptions in Ukraine, only independent adoptions work here. If you hire an accredited agency in the USA and want us to do your adoption process in Ukraine, we will be happy to provide any documents or sign an agreement if your agency requires. We legally work in Ukraine and have a license which allows us to provide legal services in Ukraine. Please, read below an email of a family from March 2014 who consulted with US adoption agencies regarding the new law.
"I spoke with an agency about the new law that takes place in July of this year. They said that the law does not require a placing agency but that we can still go through you and do the adoption independently. The law was put in place for agencies that were not Hague approved but were providing Hague services. I asked several times if we could do the adoption independently and each time the answer was yes. They said that the law is very confusing and many people thought it meant you could not do independent adoptions any more but that is incorrect."
