Attention: There are changes in adoption law, namely:

1. Two Home Study originals should be in the dossier.
2. If you adopt a special need child under 5 y.o. need to mention the diseases of the child in Recommendations section of the Home Study. Please, make sure that this child is considered special needs in Ukraine, you may find the list of diagnoses HERE Under this list children may be adopted under 5 years old and without the waiting period in the database of the SDA. If you don't indicate one of these diseases, your dossier will be rejected.
3. Added a new line in the medical certificate: "Disability" (if any).
4. The name of the State Department is changed. We have made these changes to the samples of documents for download on the website.

All these changes are made in Section Dossier (section available only for the families who use our services).

One more news: The State Department will start inviting families since December 15, 2011.
