Changes in adoption laws in Ukraine.

When crossing the state border of Ukraine, Ukrainian border guards in addition to checking passports can selectively ask foreigners to confirm the purpose of the visit and financial support for the trip.

We receive many requests about the events in Ukraine. The situation got better since February 25, 2014. We had very tragic events on February 20, 2014 when 80 people were killed. Former President of Ukraine Yanukovych is hiding in Russia and we have a new acting President, new Prime-Minister and Ministers.

Independed adoptions will continue to work in Ukraine. First of all, Ukraine didn't change any requirements regarding adoption process. Secondly, the law passes in the USA and please check with the accredited agencies in your area about their requirements.
